# Clearing

Clearing is Entur's service for processing financial transactions between Entur and its partners, and for reporting on the result.

Partners interact with Clearing through two separate APIs, which most partners only need one of:

- **Generic Settlements** — submit financial transactions to be cleared. See

  [Getting started with settlements](/guides/clearing/getting-started-with-settlements) to submit your first one.
- **Reports** — discover and download the data products and reports that Clearing generates from cleared
